BTUSAR Needs a new scuba compressor

Hi Everyone! Thank you for visiting our fund raiser.
My name is Rick Zeller, Assistant Chief of Berkeley Twp
Underwater Search and Rescue Squad #86.
BTUSAR Squad 86 has been serving the residents of Berkeley Township, New Jersey and the surrounding areas since 1976. We are a trained unit of underwater rescue, recovery and Police divers with EMT's and commercial divers on staff. Our public safety mission includes any and all marine rescue emergency response above or below the water line and to respond to mutual aid requests in any other emergency within the realm of our unit's training. 
In the process of serving our community during Super Storm Sandy and the restoration of the Jersey Shore our faithful breathing air compressor of 25 years finally wore out to the point it could not be repaired.  Our team uses the compressor for filling our Scuba and SCBA cylinders for our search and recovery missions along with our constant training schedule so we are prepared for whatever is thrown our way!!! We have a company ready to supply us with a refurbished compressor of the correct capacity for our ever growing squad (at a greatly reduced price) but our township like many others are cutting budgets. Since we are mostly funded by private donations and also by our training of other public service organizations for donations, we do not have the resources many other fire companies/Rescue squads have. Please help us purchase our compressor so we can continue to serve our community with the high quality emergency reponse you deserve!
