We as parents of two wonderful children are in the search of some help.  Our children, Pete and Alicia Curtis have been Married since August 9th, 2008.  They both attended college, Pete went to Maine Maritime Academy and Alicia went to Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. They both have good jobs. Although, like any student you have Student Loans to contend with.  Alicia coaches the Lawrence High School Cheerleaders and has dedicated many many hours and personal vacations to these girls. Pete coaches the Lawrence High School Football Team and also dedicates hours and hours to these young men.   They attend Blessed Hope Advent Christian Church in Waterville.  The reason for the fund, is to help this wonderful young couple adopt a child.  They have exhausted so many other avenues and spent countless dollars .  They tried IVF and it was successful to a point.  They managed to get pregnant 6 times. The end result ending up with emptiness that the two have carried solo now for a very long time. Anyone being a parent would understand the pain associated with seeing your child suffer and not be able to help.  We finally asked Pete and Alicia if we could help them...and set up a Go Fund for them to adopt a baby.  I can tell you there is not another couple more deserving or more loving then these two.  This child will be the luckiest child ever.  This will be a community baby.  Brought to light by the love and support of everyone that loves Pete and Alicia.  We all can have a hand in this venture and give back to them some of the love they give out to the community, friends, family and church all year long.  They have suffered silently...and as parents...we just cannot let this keep happening.  So we are working together to show our kids they are not going through this alone!!!  We love them with all we have!!  Please support our children so they can complete the family of their dreams!!
