Since our inception in Miami, Circle of Mamas has grown and now has a program in Daytona Beach, FL! This is our second year in Daytona doing the work of expanding access to Birth Justice for young mothers and their families.
The host organization, Southern Birth Justice Network (formerly Mobile Midwife), has been in leadership transition over the last year. As we rebuild, we need your generosity to continue providing this necessary support for young mamas.
This campaign will raise funds to supply baby carriers, breastfeeding support and midwifery care to pregnant and parenting teens in the Daytona Beach area. Your support of:
-$30 will provide a carrier or wrap which will allow a teen mom to wear her baby.
-$50 will provide a class on breastfeeding or a consult with a lactation counselor.
-$100 will contribute toward a stipend for a doula (birth coach) to support a teen mom.
-$250 will contribute toward prenatal and postpartum care for a teen mom who is undocumented or otherwise ineligible for state-funded healthcare.

Midwifery care is holistic, healing, and humanistic. It has a rich herstory and legacy in communities of color. Our vision is to make this care accessible to all peoples- especially Black, Brown, youth, immigrant, indigenous, LGQBT, low- income and other marginalized communities.
Our mission is to expand Birth Justice by using story telling, popular education, and community organizing to improve access to midwifery care.
