Help Jane Help Others

My name is Jill and Jane Drinkwater is a dear friend of mine. Jane has been instrumental in my health and fitness journey.   I need to lose weight but have various injuries that have always gotten in my way of being able to workout. That didn't stop Jane from wanting to help me.  She would always say to me "just come to the gym".  She didn't care that I couldn't do most of the exercises the rest of the class was doing, she just wanted me to come.    One of Jane's many specialties is creatively modifying workouts for each client to handle things such as injuries.  Because of her, I did not want to stop and with her help she kept me moving, sweating and losing weight.   More importantly, she inspired me to keep coming back, even though it was so hard, and to feel good about any progress I was making.  This story is not unique to me.   She is so passionate about helping others reach their fitness goals and always goes the extra mile to help every client out, even putting aside her own needs to make that happen.

My story is one of many that could be told about Jane. But for now, I want to briefly talk about her story. Jane worked tirelessly over the years to build out her previous business only to lose it through a life changing divorce. She has spent so much time telling her clients not to focus on the negatives or the “I can’t” and to focus on the positives and to keep going that she knew she could not let this stop her from her mission. She opened up Crossroads Strength and Conditioning in January of 2015, putting almost everything she had left into it. Her mission, as always, is to help people reach their fitness goals no matter what. As she continues to try and grow her business, she has hit a point where she cannot get over the next hurdle without some help. With some more equipment, a little work to the facility and some individual business needs like a sign on her front door so people know what is behind the door, she knows she could take her company to the next level.

Jane did not ask me to do this and in fact would be against the idea.  She is a very proud person and would rather continue to struggle then ask for help. I hate to see her struggle and want to help her and I know through this GoFundMe campaign others that she has helped and inspired in the past will want to help too. If you are able to contribute, please make a small donation, every bit helps.
