Nikki and Joe's Miracle Fund

My best friend Nikki and her husband Joe have had the dream of having a child since the moment that they said "I do."  Her desire in life was to become a mother and complete her fairytale ending.

In 2007, after trying to conceive a baby for three and a half years, they decided to seek help at Fertility Centers of Illiniois.   They both went through testing to get the ball rolling.... At the final consulation, they sat axiously awaiting for the doctor to come in... they were so excited to hear what step was next.  The doctor came in the room, sat down and delivered such devastating news.  It was not what they were wanting to hear.  They were told, with tears down the doctors face, "I am sorry, but you both have a 5% chance of conceiving on your own, even with fertility treaments."  Nikki's egg reserve had diminished.  At the age of 34, she had as many eggs as a 47 year old woman.  Because their insurace would not cover much of the treatments, the doctor felt as though their chances of conceiving combined with the endless amount of loans and debt that would be accrued would not be worth the heartache.

Over the years, Nikki and Joe have tried to come to terms with the idea that they were never going to become parents.  Seven years later, Nikki still was not able to move on.  She decided that she needed to somehow give the love that she had for children and use it in a positive way... She became a nanny for a six month old baby girl named Amelia.  Nikki's smile came back and her days started to become fulfilled.  The couple that she nannied for, Kelly and Tim, took notice to how much Nikki and Joe deserved the chance to be parents, and around November, 2014 told them that they wanted to give them a gift... the gift to adopt two of their frozen embryos.  Although Kelly and Tim's family was not complete, they had already made up their mind that they wanted to do this for them.

Who would have thought, 7 years after they thought their journey ended of becoming parents, that they would get their chance? Their one and only chance to have the baby that they have always dreamt of... They say that things happen for a reason, I think this story says it all... these ANGELS... Kelly, Tim and precious Amelia have come in to the Stazak's life for a reason.

Nikki and Joe would never ask for help from anyone.... So I am asking, would you guys help give this couple one last chance in life to fulfill their dream? This opportunity would give them piece of mind that at least they were able to "try."   No matter what happens, they will always feel so blessed to have been given such a selfless gift from an amazing family.

If in case these two embryos do not take, they will be donating any thing over to people like themselves.
