Rick's Pony Magic Dream Lives On

Donation protected
My husband Rick Perrenoud suffered an intercranial hemorraghe on Sunday March 1, 2015 as he worked in his shop.  He was airlifted to Sacred Heart Medical Center but his heart stopped at 1:26 pm on Monday March 2nd.  We were childhood friends, and highschool sweethearts.  We would have celebrated our 42nd wedding anniversary on May 19.  Rick was such a good man.  He was a builder by trade, but creatively he had built some of the most incredible pieces that will live on as his legacy.  He was raised with the ability to look at each new day as a gift to behold and that every person was worthwhile.  His charm, wit, compassion and caring made him a friend to many and a husband that always had my back and took such good care of me.  I miss him terribly and each day is a struggle.  One of the best things that came to both of us later in life, was Storybook Farm Ponies.  Due to a  dear friend's passing ,  we became the proud new owners of these incredible little fuzzy heroes!    We bring our ponies to all kinds of events and parties and create Pony Magic wherever we go.  Nothing is more precious than the smiles and delight that a pony can bring to a child.  Not only are our ponies beautiful and well mannered, but they have a special sense for children and adults who have physical or mental challenges.  Our ponies are patient and kind, and withstand a shakey little hand accidentally poking them in the eye....they never waiver.  When you see a small child, barely able to react open their eyes wide and smile at their new furry friend, you know you are doing the right thing.  Rick loved his ponies and the magic that they created.  We have been doing this for 10 years, and this year was going to be no exception.  With a broken heart, I now find myself alone.  I want to continue the work that Rick and I have been doing.  I have already received over $35,000 in medical bills and our insurance will only cover a portion of that.  With my beloved husband gone, running our Farm is going to be tough.  Although we have many friends and family, there is only so much that people can do.   Asking for financial help is not something that we have ever had to do.....but I now find myself in the position of having to do just that.  Please help me keep Rick's dream going strong....he loved his ponies almost as much as he loved me.  Keeping the pony magic alive would almost be like having him still here with me.  Thank you from the bottom of my shattered heart.  Your kindness is so appreciated.
