This page is for John Kacz -- a man loved by many who is in need of your support. In July 2015, John found out he has stage 4 throat cancer. He will begin chemo mid-August to help prolong his life. Due to his condition and the upcoming intensive treatment, John has taken a leave of absence from work and is therefore in need of any financial help from those willing and able. John is staying very positive but has a difficult road ahead of him so please keep him in your thoughts and prayers. Any donations would also be greatly appreciated and very helpful. And now, a little more about our beloved John...
One of seven siblings, John can get along with just about anyone, has great character and a huge heart. Several months ago, John finished his residency at Serenity House, which is a sober-living housing for former alcholics and addicts trying to get back on their feet. John performed the role of Senior Resident, where he was a great friend, advisor, and role model to all. He took great pride in his duties and finds strength in helping others through their difficult times. After this endeavor, John found himself revitalized with a feeling of new life inside of him and wanted to continue helping others. Unfortunately, shortly after this life-changing experience, John received the crushing news of his cancer. Now, we hope to give John more time to continue enjoying life and to continue being an inspiration, and even a success story, to others. He means so much to so many!
We seek funding to help John with any uncovered medical bills, transportation to doctors and treatment, daily living needs, or other items that John may need during his battle with cancer. Additionally, John may be looking into alternative treatments such as nutritional supplements to keep his body strong through this straining process, or possibly even clinical trials. Our main goal is to Kick Cancer's Butt and to make John a miracle story! Any donations, no matter how small, are appreciated more than we can say.
