Mother sues B.C. Ministry of Children after baby dies in foster care
In March 2013 a 21 month old girl named Isabella Wiens died while in foster care. Two years later her mother Sara-Jane Wiens is still trying to find an answer and closure to this matter. She has had to resort to suing British Columbia's Ministry of Children and Family Development. Through out this time there are now finacial responsibilities that are now present so we can proceed with this matter. Sara-Jane Wiens now live in Ontario and she will have to travel back to British Columbia on this matter as well as find a place to reside on a short term basis. She has had to ask for finacial help from a third party to pay for the basic legal fees to start this matter. There are going to be other costs and expenses related to dealing with this matter, that neither her or the third party can afford. We are asking for any help that people are willing to give.
