Amazing Grace Mission Trip

Most of you know that Greg and I have a huge passion for mission work. We have already been to Nicaragua two times to take school supplies to kids who otherwise would not be able to attend. These children have touched our hearts and we have a real connection with the people of Nicaragua. This year is even more exciting than the previous ones. Not only are we going to Nicaragua, but I am leading a team on my own.....and it keeps getting better, Jake will be joining us this year and he is extremely excited to be a part of our team.

I have felt God continually pushing me to make a BOLD move where missions are concerned and I am being faithful.  We will be going to Nicaragua in mid October and have BIG plans. We will be taking 250 School Paks to these kids, and hosting a VBS in one of the towns for 3 days. We want to spend more time in one area making lasting relationships with these kids and teaching them about God's unending love for them. We want to make a life-changing impact. Now here is the biggie, we are also going to be punching a well, which will change the entire community's way of life. They will have FRESH, CLEAN water at their disposal. How cool is that? 

Here is where YOU come in! We have many needs and anything you can do is so appreciated. We first and foremost need prayer for our entire team as we prepare for this journey and while on our trip. The 250 school Paks need to be filled, and there are two ways you can do that. You can either fill the Paks yourself with a list of items we provide, and a check for $15 for the child's school uniform OR you can simply send us a check for $40 and our team will fill the Paks with the supplies/uniform. The VBS will cost approximately $500 and that will cover all the supplies we need, the activities for the kids and snacks. The well will cost $1700....can you believe that's all it costs to bring fresh water to a community? Then there are our personal trips to make this all happen and it costs $1500 for each of us. The total amount needed for this project is $17,000. This is a HUGE undertaking but we have a strong and dedicated team.

We are so excited to see what God is going to do and we are faithful that it will financially all come together. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your continual love, support and prayers.
