Our mission at A Loving matter is to promote universal love using the visual and performing arts as a vehicle to support high school teens lacking the resources to engage in the fine arts. Our visual and performing arts intensive program equip them with the necessary tools and resources for scholarship, creative license & self expression. Our community out reach program also provides the opportunity to give back to the community at large.
Our organization began with our very first community out reach program, Project: Lunch 'N Love, which began on January 1, 2015 and caused our mission to take shape. As we continue to grow and evolve we are now preparing to launch our primary object program, the ALM Visual & Performing Arts Intensive. The VPAI will be launching in the Spring of 2016 with a LAUSD High School that we are very excited to announce in the next few weeks.
The VPAI is a two part 16 Week intensive for high school students lacking the resources to engage in fine arts programing. The VPAI not only consists of fine arts courses, but also include motivational seminars, group meditation sessions, community service, academic tutoring and mentoring.
We want to raise $100,000 by January 1st, 2016 to help pay for all of administrative coast and the day to day functions of the organization. We can't do it alone. We need all of you to help us help many.
