Our dear friend and Pastor, Bruce Berliner passed away suddenly on Monday, March 23rd 2015. Pastor Bruce is survived by his wife, Deborah, and three kids Brett, Amanda and Joel. He was an amazing Pastor, Father, Husband, Son, Brother, Friend, and colleague and will be dearly missed by all.
Pastor Bruce LOVED Jesus. The definition of selflessness and generosity, with a personality bigger than life! He immensely impacted the lives of many within his community, and also left a lasting impression on everyone who crossed his path--going above and beyond to make someone's day. He loved his family more than anything
Pastor Bruce led his church, Encouragement in Christ (EIC) in Englewood for 19 plus years. Pastor Bruce was always the first to step up and give everything he and his family had , even when he had nothing .He was always there to help out so many. Pastor Bruce would always say “We can’t do everything but we must do something.” And that is truly how Pastor Bruce lived. He and his family truly always give of themselves which has left them many times without.
As you can imagine, this is a difficult time for Pastor Bruce’s Family and we would like to support them during this healing process by helping with the financial burden of a funeral. Please help us raise money for Bruce’s funeral services and to help support his wife, Deborah and his 3 children. Its truly time for us to step up and do something.
Services for Pastor Bruce will be held at Volk Leber Funeral home. 789 Teaneck NJ 07666 on Saturday March 28th. The viewing will begin at 1pm and go until 3 followed immediately by service that will begin at 3:15
