Hello my name ia Amy Clark, I am James Ellis girlfriend as of 5 years, I set up a gofundme account to help with ongoing  medical expenses and ongoing monthly expenses, since he is going to be off work possibly a month or so.  All funds are going to go towards this.  Here is his story---

On the morning of Monday, August 24th, 2015, James Ellis suffered a cardiac arrest while driving to work.
Having been driving while this occurred, James's car gradually decelerated into a nearby pole in a ditch near I-696 and Orchard Lake Rd. Witnesses to the crash called 9-1-1, and first responders found James slumped over the steering wheel, unresponsive and blue in the face with the tires of his vehicle still spinning.
As all doors to the vehicle were locked, officers smashed the passenger side window in order to gain entry to James's car. They quickly pulled him from the automobile and began to administer CPR. An AED (Automated Electronic Defibrillator) was also necessary in order to get James's heart beating again. They immediately transported him to Botsford Hospital's ICU, where he remained in critical condition for three days in a medically-induced coma.
Doctors were doubtful that he would ever awaken. If he did, they expected him to have severe brain damage as a result of prolonged oxygen deprivation.

However, on the third day, his brother came to visit, as he had every day. And, just like every other day, he verbally greeted James upon entry.

But today, James resonded by opening his eyes and looking directly at his brother. Given his grim prognosis, it was an absolute miracle that this took place. Though facing restrictions, and having had a pacemaker implanted in his chest just above his heart, James was able to speak, move, and remember his family members along with their birthdates and other basic information.

For the next six weeks, James will be unable to work by doctor's mandate. In the meantime, his family will still have bills to pay and a hospital visit to cover financially, as they were uninsured at the time.

James and his family are asking for any assistance possible. Even a donation of five, ten, or twenty dollars could help.

If each person associated with his or his girlfriend's facebook account (Amy Clark)  were to donate even just five dollars to this cause, they could easily cover 10% of their goal.

We are asking you to please, even if you cannot afford to donate a dollar or more, please share this gofundme account to help spread the word!
Thank you for any donations.
