Maribel Pablo Memorial Fund

Donation protected
On Tuesday March 24th, 2015, at 1:52 a.m., Maribel lost her life tragically in an automobile accident. The vehicle she was in, was hit head on by a drunk driver who was traveling the wrong way on I-70E near London Ohio on her way back from Chicago for a church event.

She is survived by two young children ages 3 and 7 and her husband that she can no longer help take care of. They were the reason she worked six days a week. Many times, she was heard saying that she works so much because she just wanted her and her family to "be happy!" as told by a co-worker. She was an amazing employee at Holiday Inn, in Hilliard Ohio, as a breakfast cook. Not only was she a breakfast cook, she did anything asked of her. Nothing was ever too much for her to handle. To many at Holiday Inn, she was someone they looked up to because of her hard work. She was always there to help her co-workers whether it be making cookies for the afternoon to teaching them her native language, Spanish or, from one co-worker, "how to make delicious waffles and to be an incredible mother." Maribel took so much pride in her work and made sure the guests of the hotel had a hot fresh meal each morning and never complained about the early mornings she had to be at work. She was never late and never called off.

As she had no life insurance, we are asking for these donations so that her husband is able to give her the funeral that she deserves. The monies raised will also benefit her children. This is also to help take care of the immediate and long term necessities of her children.
