Pulling For Protection is a Truck Pulling fund raiser in which I will attempt to break the 'Female Truck Pull World Record'. 100% of all money raised will be split between both Barnardo's Australia and the White Ribbon Foundation.
Now I don't want to weigh you down with upsetting statistics so I will keep this very short.....
+With these departments being only 10% funded through government they rely heavily on donations and fund raising.
+In the last year approximately 70 women in Australia died through violence and in QLD alone 9 children died due to maltreatment or domestic homicide.
To better fund these departments is the first step in preventing these horific incidents in occuring and rescuing those effected after it has happened.
This event will be held at the end of March 2018 and every donation, every post share and every bit of sponsorship will be incredibly appreciated.
Now we will keep you updated with training and fund raising and if my fear of a video camera doesn't take over we will have live coverage on the day to let you all see the final result.
