Similar to wandering behaviors in seniors with Alzheimer's or dementia, children with Autism are prone to wandering away from a safe environment. Unfortunately, many cases end in tragedy.
Southern Utah Autism Support Group is a nonprofit organization partnering with the St. George Police Department in providing and funding Project Lifesaver for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders, Down Syndrome, Alzheimer's and Dementia.
Funds raised will go toward providing tracking devices through project lifesaver for individuals and their families. This project will provide much relief to families of those who wander or elope.

It costs $300 to provide one transmitter for a child with Autism or Down Syndrome. This program runs strictly on donations.
