Our future generations might not have the privilege to go on beautiful treks to the Himalayas like we do. It is a possibility that by the time our kids grow up we have abused the mountains to the point of no return.

Every year Abhishek trekked on the high altitude peaks of Himalayas and saw the irresponsible tourism practices, his head sank a little. The situation has only gotten worse. Entire glaciers have disappeared, kids falling sick from drinking polluted water.

Abhishek realised that by not doing something he was adding to the problem.

Enough!

No more taking our planet for granted.

He started his search and soon identified an NGO that has been working hard to remove trash from our mountains - Waste Warriors. https://wastewarriors.org/

Abhishek challenged himself to take upon projects that push the limits of a human in order to bring attention to this urgent crisis.

After having climbed high altitude peaks like Stok Kangri, Goechala, Pangarchulla, Pin Parvati Pass, Sandakphu, Kedarkantha, Bali Pass, Baralacha Pass his appetite for adventure had grown bigger.

In 2021 he completed his Basic Mountaineering Course from the prestigious Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Darjeeling.

His hunger to solve the crisis of trash in the mountains led to the birth of #Project3k.

#Project3k starts on July 31st and ends on September 10th. During these 40 days, Abhishek will climb Mt. Kun (23,218 ft), Kang Yatse II (20,500 ft) and if this wasn't enough run the Highest Ultra Marathon (72 km) in the world.

99.99% of the population of this planet will never even attempt one of these three challenges. Abhishek has set his mind on achieving all three of them back to back.

We will support his vision by opening our hearts and wallets.

This is our planet. We need to support leaders who care for our planet. Abhishek is that leader.
