Daphne Rangers Academy, formally known as Daphne Strike Soccer Club, continues its progress in building a family-friendly and community supported soccer complex. Village Park is located adjacent to Trione Park, the town's athletics complex. The 10-acre site will feature a clubhouse, classrooms, café’, soccer store, and much more.
Village Park is a place where players can hone their craft, and further foster their love of the sport. It is the setting where the local soccer clubs can offer players top level training from some of the most qualified coaches along the Gulf Coast.
Daphne Rangers is home to more than 1200 players from all over the Gulf Coast through multiple programs. In addition to these soccer programs, Strike also provides adult leagues, a special needs program, and an annual tournament drawing nearly 100 teams from five states.
In addition, this small town club has groomed players to play and train at some of the biggest venues in professional soccer from here in the U.S. to Scotland, England, and beyond. Currently, we have players participating in Olympic Development Programs, which is a youth pathway to the U.S. national team. Having a Village Park will only enhance these efforts and promote growth for players, coaches, and fans of the game.
We are confident that this soccer complex will boost the local economy. Village Park will attract players and their families from all over the Gulf Coast to train and learn from the best, eat our local restaurants, stay in our hotels and visit local attractions pumping thousands of dollars into area coffers.
This isn’t just about adding fields but more about creating a community soccer complex unlike any other on the Gulf Coast. It’s about a commitment to the youth in our area, their families, and a better quality of life while igniting passion for the game of soccer.
