Project RISE

Project RISE (Refugee Integration in Society and Education) is a high school student program that helps raise supplies for refugees in the Greater Boston Metro area. This project has already raised 22 big boxes of basic needs items for refugees such as clothing, school supplies, books & more and delivered them to deserving families from Ukraine, Syria, South Sudan, Iraq and Eritrea. However, we learnt that refugee children need additional items such as arts supplies, science fair equipment and specialized education material, which are not supplied by any charity organization. We have met some of these needs from our own personal funds but would like to raise more money to completely meet the needs of refugee children so that they have resources on par with average school children in America.
