COLORS: A Soulful Experience
An original stage production that explores an emotional spectrum of colors through combining concert & social dance, with soulfully constructed music.
Concept and Direction by choreographer, Joshua L Ishmon and composer, Sam Trump.
Curated by Kevin Iega Jeff, the artistic/producing director of Chicago’s Deeply Rooted Productions.

The world premiere of COLORS took place at the Chicago Cultural Center on Nov. 4th & 5th, 2016, achieving an overwhelming response with two consecutive, sold-out shows! Many audience testimonials reveled in it's originality, and compelling synergy between the music & dance throughout each movement.
"This was just the first draft!" says Ishmon. "Our vision of this production is much bigger, and we want to show how much more we can do with a little bit of help from you!"
All funds donated will be used to better support our ensemble members, incorporate live musicians into our production, and raise the overall level of artistry within our production.
