Bubba's road to recovery

Bubba was involved in a motorcycle accident early this morning. We don't know all the details but we just talked to the Dr and he needs surgery to relieve the pressure on his brain.
Bubba had surgery and is resting comfortably.
Bubba had a good night - all his vitals stayed at good levels and he is making very slow progress which is to be expected with this type of injury. They check his reflexes every hour to make sure they are the same or better and those are staying the same or slight improvement.
Well the 1st attempt was not successful - they tried to ween Bubba off and he was just not ready as the fluid was causing his number to rise above the limit of 20 - it was wavering up from 21-25 which was not good. The good sign was they put his sedation back and the numbers went back on their own - they did not have to take measures to get him back to his safe numbers.
A good sign was they pull tape off his chest and it pulled his hair and he grabbed at them which means he is feeling and reacting!!! So he will rest and heal more and we will try again tomorrow
