Pocket Havamal Distribution Project

We at The Asatru Community Inc., are dedicated to improving the lives of Heathens and Asatruar around the world. 

While we work at this every day, and are creating small, close knit communities around the world, that are all connected via TAC. There is an area that is sadly ingnored for the most part; something we have been working to change. 

One of our most in-need demographics are those active duty men and women who serve in the military, and those who have already served, regardless of nation.  (select countries for shipping reasons) For some reason,  we at TAC and within the Heathen community, cannot understand why those men and women who serve seem to often be left out in the cold spiritually while deployed and when they get back home. 

We all know that we live in a Christian world and it is not our job to change that. What is our job, is to take care of our own and support them in any way that we can. To do this TAC over the last year has been sending out care-packages containing what we could send at the time, but almost always involving a Pocket Havamal from Hugin and Munin Publishing. It has always been the most requested item and a light in the dark on those cold lonely nights in a far away land, or here back at home, lost in memories. The Pocket Havamal has been a source of inspiration and encouragement for soldiers and veterans for years. 

The Pocket Havamal, the small, pocket sized version of the "The Words of the High One", Odin; is the perfect companion for those deployed Heathens, and for those at home. Small, compact, and light weight, they can take it with them where ever they go, 

What we would like to do is create a Pocket Havamal distribution program. Here we create a fund, this fund, where 100% of the proceeds we recieve go to either purchasing Pocket Havmalas, or the shipping cost to send them.These donations will be different from when you get a TAC Shirt, or give a direct donation; those funds are used by The Board via a proposal and project based system for the community. The money rasied by this fundrasiser is exclusively for the Pocket Havamal Distribution Program.

and we will ship a Pocket Havamal to them for free! We know how important it is to have that link to the community, to the divine, and how much it can mean to receive a package like this. 

Over and over we get hundreds of requests for Pocket Havamals, and while we have been sending as many as we can. We just cannot hope to fufill the hundreds of orders coming in, that is, without your help. Please, if you want to help us help those brave men and women over seas, at home, and those who have served, then donate today. Any amount helps and can help us get that many more books sent out to those who request them. If you cannot donate today, we understand, and there are other ways to help. You can share this campaign and spread the word about the Pocket Havamal Distribution Project. If you have contacts with chaplains who want to help out Heathens, let them know about us,  get them in contact with us, and we will do what we can. There are always ways in which to help, and now is the time.
