Please help me save kittens from FIP!!

Donation protected
UPDATE - Max has just 3 weeks of his treatment left and he's doing great!! Thankfully I now have enough medication for the rest of his treatment but there are many, many more kittens out there who's owners are struggling to afford their treatment, just as I did. As part of Max's living legacy I would dearly love to be able to keep a supply of this medication on hand so that I can then donate emergency doses to people while they either wait for their orders to be processed or start to fundraise themselves. The cost of treatment varies from cat to cat as it depends on their weight and the severity of their symptoms, but it tends to be upwards of around £3.5k... it's a lot for one family to find, especially as pet insurance won't cover any of it, but as a community of animal lovers I know we can help so many babies to beat this horrific virus. Max's story is still detailed below so you can see what these cats are fighting... if you aren't able to donate to this fund, please continue to share it - raising awareness that the treatment even exists is such a big part of this. People simply won't always look for an alternative to euthanasia if they don't know it's there. Many, many thanks for your help and generosity so far for Max, now please, let's see if together we can help to save more of his fellow FIP Warriors x PayPal.me/MaxIsBeatingFIP Max's story... Max is a normally bouncy, playful, naughty 6 month old kitten... I adopted him in July and, up until now, he's been the picture of health.  Sadly this has changed over the course of the last week   What I was initially convinced was constipation now has a probable diagnosis of FIP, a particularly horrific and often fatal disease Max is undergoing several tests at the moment - there is no definitive test for FIP so it's a case of ruling out anything else it could be - or rather hopefully finding something else it could be as FIP has very few treatment options. He is insured but, as it's the first claim I'll be making, I have to pay for his tests and treatment in advance then claim it back... any of you with pets will know how costly this can get very quickly (over £1k already )    If the final diagnosis *is* FIP, treatment options are few and far between, it is often fatal very quickly However, I've been told about a new treatment that's saving cats where other treatments have failed. The drawback is it's not yet covered by insurance as it's so new so I'd need to cover that myself... it would cost a minimum of £3.5k, and this would rise as he grows as his dose would increase with his weight   So, long story short, I really need your help in saving his life... to a) help me cover his initial costs pending an insurance claim, and then b) help me to pay for the new treatment that could cure him (it's called GS-441524 if you want to Google the details)    If any of you are able and willing to help but don't want to input card details here I do have PayPal ([email redacted])... please let me know if you do send anything that way so that I can thank you all individually, I really appreciate any help anyone can give and want to be able to thank and update everyone who's helping us, either by sharing this fundraiser or by donating   Any help you can give, be it pennies or pounds, will be hugely appreciated Thank you for reading and please share if you can xx
