With the help of many local moms who feel the urgency of a free indoor play area that is safe for young children in all weather.
Partnership-
We are working with the Community Foundation of GF/EGF and Region as our Fiscal Agent. Donations are tax deductible through their 501c3 status.
Our Mission-
“To provide a free indoor play space that is available to the community that encourages movement, exercise and imaginative play, and allow for independence and safety for a variety of ages.
All support helps-
Did you know that if every family in Grand Forks donated only $5, our project would be fully funded?
Business Sponsorship-
$500 - Bronze
$1,000 - Silver
$2,000 - Gold
$5,000 - Platinum
All tiered business sponsors will be displayed via a large sign at the onset of construction and with a permanent sign once the project is complete.
GOAL:
We have a goal of $50,000.00 which is based on quotes for playground equipment, safety flooring, and fencing to go around the space. The Grand Cities Mall Management (Land of Hope, LLC) has selected a space in the center atrium of the mall for the construction of the playground.
Once the playground fundraising is completed, the structure will be purchased and donated to the Mall, who will insure the structure as well as maintain the equipment and space.
The space will be---
-a free indoor space for families to bring their children in all weather
-designed to foster active, creative and social play, to exercise the body and brain
-an attraction to bring shoppers near many locally owned businesses
-accessible to individuals with disabilities
-centered in a multi-cultural and low income part of our community
-an important factor in rejuvenating the “Midtown” part of Grand Forks
