The Pin Up Perfection Pageant 2015

Pin Up Perfection Magazine is a one woman operation that started in 2009. It was built on the foundation of love and admiration for pin ups, burlesque and retro/vintage culture.
In 2012 we had our first Pin Up Perfection Pageant, and it was a great success, as was the year after. Girls from all over the country applied to compete. Each year 8 were chosen to come and compete live in Pittsburgh.
For the past 3 years we have held the pageant at a local bar in Pittsburgh. But we feel as the pageant grows, it's home needs to as well. We have selected the beautiful and historical Hollywood Theater as our new home.
With a bigger home comes a bigger bill. We just need some help in making this dream a reality. We decided to hold a series of fundraisers through out the year hoping to make the goal more achievable. Ultimatly we need at least $700.
All funds raised to to the pageant, the rental of the theater, paying our dj and performers, gifts for the contestants, marketing and promotion as well as the unexpected expenses that always seem to pop up!
Without the help of our readers and fans will may not be able to secure this wonderful space. This theater will provide us with a beautiful new home and a wonderful setting for the Pin Up Perfection Pageant. We want to provide the best experience for our patrons as we all as our contestants and this space will allow us to do that more so then other spaces we have used in the past.
The Pin Up Perfection Pageant is always a good time. New experiences, friends and memories. It has become a Pittsburgh tradition.
A little bit goes a long way and every dollar helps. Times are tough on everyone we understand that, but anything you can donate helps. If you can't make a monetary donation we also look for sponsorship and people to help with the pageant. And you can always share and help spread the word!

"I was hesitant to compete in the Pin Up Perfection Pageant this year. When I sent in my form, I had only been on stage once, I didn't think I was ready to go up against experienced performers. But, after the constant encouragement from a dear friend of mine, I sent in my application- I am so happy I did! The atmosphere of the pageant is so positive and every performer so encouraging of their "competition." Miss Kitty cares so much about this event and each contestant involved; I felt like I was performing in a show with my closet friends instead of competing. My favorite thing about the pageant is the opportunity to showcase who we each are as people, not just performers. It's personal and therefore, has helped me grow in ways I wasn't expecting.
