We are the Pink Piggies, a Destination Imagination Team made up of Sofia, Abby, Shelby, Avery, Reese, and Clarissa. We are all in the 5th grade and this is our third year competing in Destination Imagination. This year we won first place in our challenge, out of the whole state of Oregon and now we get to go on to global competitions in Knoxville, TN!
Destination Imagination teaches creative problem solving, while incorporating STEM, the arts, and community service. But it is also so much more than that, it has taught us respect and patience, as well as the benefits of persistence and hard work.
