Greetings beautiful warriors. Beginning with a brief soul map: The core of my being is created from family, colorful journeys, the pursuit for humanitarian relief, the wish for coexisting in peace, and the desire for all beings to live in harmony within our elements. These things create my person and, no matter how great or how simple, all that i am and all that has manifested through my being in this life has been possible because of a strong and compassionate force that stems directly from these things within my soul.
What has posed as a daily struggle for me most of my life (materialism, industrialism, urbanism, and so on....avoiding a tangent) is what I feel as I sit here in this climate controlled environment and look around to my surroundings at all the man-made designed with no important purpose rubbish and experience affliction. I am so hurt. I imagine my heart strings are being pulled and I am aching, cold and heavy hearted carrying the pain of our world in momentary but always steady waves. These waves wash through my heart and, settling in my mind, I am left angry and sad for our world and determined to change it. I dare-say it can be easy for some, as they sit in their own climate controlled environments as I do in mine, surrounded by their own rubbish, warm water the twist of a knob away and the comfort of a cushioned bed only footsteps away,to forget that there are MILLIONS of people without food, water,and sadly,seemingly outside of loves reach. I suppose it can be easy to forget about the children who are being forced into soldiery or into child prositution and the families that are torn apart within minutes from violent outbreaks that terrorize the streets.
The very structures that have been chains for me can prove to be life changing for many of these people. Imagine for a minute if we could take ONE business complex from one busy street in America and magically place it in an underdeveloped malnourished impoverished emotionally barren community (and there are many) for these people? How many people could this house? How many families could form? Imagine for a minute taking the money that it costs to sustain that complex for just ONE month in America, and if we could stretch that amount for six months there?! Think of how much we could do !*!**! What all we could change!!
I am to embark upon (or to continue upon but with great momentum!) my peace pilgrimage where, along the way, I will shift the gears of local to wherever I am children, families,work in progress programs, programs that have not yet been put into place, and dormant once upon a time ago dreams of the locals. We must give our best within this dimension we can recognize that i call the "the here and now" and because this is a boundless journey that has no end, I cannot say that I have hopes for "the end of this journey" but as many dreams that I have, combined with that are the endless dreams of the children that we can help to grant. I can say that, as a bonus, I may even catch a glimpse of myself somewhere along the way; feel the familiar me that I always seem to recognize in the eyes of the beautiful strangers of our amazing tragic world and think "oh! there I am" Ive been looking for me and I always seem to find myself here, in these unexpected places.
I am seeking a task force.There are over 140 MILLION orphaned children in our world and, in an effort to change the human realities for as many of these children as I can possibly connect with, it it important to understand that it is possible for these children to have a better life, to change their own personal legends, and to teach them to one day give back to their own community as well, perhaps to change the broken cycle.
Among many creations here, I hope to establish a library at the local orphanage In Peru and to organize a local volunteer program for this orphanage. I plan to propose the idea to the leaders of the orphanage upon arrival but I plan to arrive with as many books in both English and Spanish as possible to start a magnificent literary program where the local people can come and volunteer to read to the children and the period of productivity can be continuous.
These children have already overcome great odds and have many more obstacles ahead. Their special souls need to be protected with love, compassion, an opportunity for change, and...well... housing. Lets help give these children promising futures, lets help them learn to be self sufficient,teach them self worth, lets love them and hug them and show them how to let their lights shine bright and how to create an identity of their own that they can be proud of. Lets always live in the peace we can create, spread that peace as far and wide as possible and always Be The Change -
