Land's End to John O'Groats Cycle

Some teams are so special the players in them are your team mates for life. My friend Nelly Webber falls into that category so when I realised there was a way I could help him and his future wife Carly Taylor while fulfilling a life time ambition of mine it just made sense.

On May 30, 2015, myself, Jack Flanagan, Joe Flanagan, John Tomalin-Reeves and Jez Tomalin-Reeves are setting out on a 900 mile adventure from Land's End to John O'Groats over nine gruelling days of cycling.

One of the many things which is going to help me keep going on those tough Cornwall hills and against the Highland winds is knowing every penny I raise will help my friends; and if anyone deserves a bit of help it's them.

Here is their story. On November, 5, 2011, Carly had a tragic accident which has resulted in her breaking her neck in three places, leaving her paralysed from the neck down. Carly spent her first six months after the accident in Salisbury hospital but is now safely home where she belongs with her fiance Nelly. Carly is on the long road to recovery and is adamant that she will prove to everyone that she is a fighter and will regain movement and be able to walk again.
