Hi Sunny Coast.
We are never ones to ever ask for help but we genuinely need it at the moment. Roughly 9 weeks ago we were on our way to a heart specialist appointment in Brisbane for our unborn son when my husband accidently left the radiator cap off our Nissan Navara and overheated the engine to the point of no return. Unfortunately we missed the appointment and had to get our car towed back to home ground in Battery Hill so we could get our local mechanic to check it out. It is still currently sitting at the mechanics awaiting fixing. We had our insurance investigate if we could receive any assistance in the matter and thankfully we were approved just last week for $1800 off the bill which will total over $8,000. Yesterday, we had our secondary car, our Suburu Forester investigated as it was overheating after getting the thermostat fixed just on Tuesday last gone, and we are having dejavu, another head gasket/overheated engine. This bill is $3,500. My husband and I are beyond stressed and mentally, physically and finacially exhausted and with only weeks left until we welcome our second baby, things are looking grimm. I guess I was just wondering if anyone had any options or could help even a little bit financially. We also have a Suzuki Alto which I was T-boned in a year ago with damage to the back doors that hasn't been fixed due to financial reasons. We were looking at trading in both the Forester and Suzuki Alto in exchange for a reliable car to get us through as we are now stuck with absolutely nothing to get my husband to and from work and my daughter and I to doctors appointments. My husband works so hard to pay the bills and we are only on one wage due to me having severe back problems so it's making things even harder to get on track with. If anyone, anyone at all could help us in any way, we would be forever grateful. We are always the ones to put our hands up to help out in a crisis and I guess it's just our turn to need the help this time. Please keep us in your thoughts.
