Only 90 more miles in California...

Only 90 more miles in California ! I'm in my last resupply town in California, this 1700 mile long state has been amazing and full of surprises. Check out my latest blog post (hiking26.com) for an update on a few things along the trail including my 41 mile day ! Thanks for all who have donated. I'm still hoping to hit my fundraising goal to make the rest of the hike a bit less stressful. You're all wonderful for helping out and keeping track of my journey !!!

Half Way to Canada !...

NEWPORT, WA Travel & Adventure

I'm living a dream ... hiking the Pacific Crest Trail ... 2600 miles in 26 weeks. And, well, in 26 wedding dresses. Why? Why not? No really ... because it makes for fantastic photography and story. The process of preparing for the hike as well as getting 26 dresses donated, altered and in rotation to be mailed to me at mail stops on the trail, is a great read.

BUT .. what if you have one or you just would like to buy me a meal on the trail or a nights stay at a cheap hotel so I can bathe? This is a great way! GOFUNDME is a life saver for my unexpected expenses (like my backpack wearing out already, etc.)

Thanks in advance for helping me live my dream. It's a bit awkward to ask someone to help fund a dream, but I've been asked "how can we help?" - so this is a good way to do it.
