My Sister's Medical Fund

Thank you for taking the time to come here.
I created this fund to help someone who has only helped others and always with a smile on her face. She is my sister and her name is Paula.
Right now, Paula needs your help (though she would never admit it). You see, Paula is suffering every day from a condition called thalassemia. It's a blood disorder that she inherited in which the body makes an abnormal form of hemoglobin, the protein in red blood cells that carries oxygen. The disorder results in excessive destruction of red blood cells, which leads to severe anemia.
Now, because of this disorder her immune system is declining. As a result she has been in the hospital many times, enduring multiple illnesses, infections and also strokes.
Thankfully, just recently my sister has been able to find a center that offers certain treatments for this disorder. Unfortunately, these treatments are quite expensive and she is receiving very little help from the insurance company.
This is where you come in, any amount of donation will help towards these crippling medical bills she has been facing. I'm asking your help now because I would like to keep my beautiful sister smiling and help her become pain free.
