This was me on the 1st January 2012.  My weight was sitting around 36/37 stone (roughly 500lbs). This was the day I decided to make a change and at 27 years of age I was thinking if I didn't do it then I never would. Over the coming days, weeks and months I started going to the gym and tracking everything I ate and before I knew it the year was almost over and on the 1st November 2012 I was 16 stone (224lbs).
Life finally felt like it was starting for me and since then I have adopted a healthy balanced lifestyle and have my weight at 14 stone and maintain that through a mix of weightlifting, cardio and a balanced diet.

Now that my health is in good shape and I feel and look much better I have been left with alot of excess skin. It is something no amount of exercise or diet will get rid of.

Even though I had lost the weight my confidence was and still is at an all time low due to this, it kind of makes the hard work I put in worthless at times.

In the last 4 years I have been turned down 6 times by the NHS for the surgery. And the price to have it carried out privatley in the UK and Ireland means it would just not be possible, I was recommended by a work friend to check out a clinic in Poland where she knew someone who had great success with similar procedures. I then got my GP to check it out and did my own research and I liked what I saw.

After getting the go ahead from my GP I contacted the clinic who requested photos from all over my body at different angles and got back with the procedures that I would need. They are:

Abdominoplasty with liposuction

Arm lift

Male breast lift

Gynecomastia Max

The procedures will cost £5,174 and I will be required to stay for 1 week at the clinic with the surgery scheduled for Monday 11th April 2016.

I am setting this funding page due to the positive encouragement from friends and family who would like to contribute. I am not expecting anything from anybody and every penny will be graciously recieved.
