In honor of Brandon Corley's academic achievement, leadership ability and interest in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math, he has been nominated and accepted into the National Youth Leadership Forum: Explore STEM program.
In addition to this great accomplishment, Brandon is required to help raise the needed funds and gain real-world financial perspective on the cost of his college education. Brandon's very own creative idea was to reach out to family and friends via a modern fundraising avenue.
Brandon will be attending a week long program at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia beginning July 13, 2015. The program is designed to give him exposure to college requirements and tools needed to make informed decisions about his future. The six day program will allow him to Explore Engineering and Technology, Medicine and Science and how they relate to STEM fields. He will also take part in many real-world simulation activites.
