It's the FINAL COUNTDOWN ... "Sarasota's folky Americana sweethearts" hit the road for their second tour on August 1, 2013!
With their sophomore album, "Nest of String," literally hot off the presses, Passerine will undertake a 17-day tour of the Southeast and Midwest to promote the new record and share their music in places these birds have never flown before (and in a couple favorite haunts as well).

Prior to Passerine's very first tour one year ago, the band launched their debut album with a fantastically successful CD release party in their hometown. This provided a healthy nest egg to get the band of birds rolling down the highway. This tour, however, offers new fans the exclusive opportunity chance to acquire the new record, featuring original songs and classics by Americana icons, before it hits the public ear.
A month of hard work at Zen Recording left the Passerine coffers substantially depleted, so the band members now turn to their amazingly supportive friends, family and fanbase for help. Projected expenses include:
- Mixing, mastering and packaging fees for the new album
- Restocking merchandise inventory
- Transportation
- Gas
- Campsite rental
- Grub (you should see the amount of chips and salsa this band can put away!)
Can you spare a few feathers for Passerine's nest? Every dollar funds another mile down the road!
