LOS ANGELES, CA

Papermache is the internet's first social research paper publishing platform for university students that will allow its users to legally share graded academic work with a peer community!

Users will upload research papers to a personal portfolio for consumption from a community of their peers. Peers will read and review work, utilizing powerful citation capabilities to reference relevant information in their own work. They will also be able to find like minded researchers with whom to collaborate on future work, all in a safe and stimulating environment! A first for undergraduate publishing, Papermache will grant copyright licenses to every student work, protecting users intellectual property and academic reputations.

Papermache will throw open the doors to academic research, allowing students to efficiently find and use awesome, vetted information. Students will no longer have to visit multiple sites to complete one assignment, instead Papermache will offer an all inclusive one stop shop for discovering and using legitimate information

We have spent the past 3 years analyzing the undergraduate market and determining what the critical needs are for completing research papers. With this beta version, this journey has been compacted into a Minimum Viable Product, a customized solution for the needs of a university student.

While we a year and a half old company, we are 36 development hours and $5,000 from launching our beta version to honors society students on the campuses of Cal State LA and Cal Tech. We anticipate our completion date to be around mid-January and will begin to invite more users after that date.

Money will be spent to assure the final development and rollout is executed smoothly. In addition our marketing campaign will help spread the word about this critical solution that is the result of a five year effort to solve the problems students face conducting research. Instead of a laborious chore, research paper production will now become a fun and interactive activity.

At Papermache, we believe all students should share their research papers. Why? Because we are all students and together we're better!!
