Paige's 21st Birthday

So, my best friend's birthday is on June 4 and it is her 21st and I have always promised her that the second I had the means, I would take her on a trip to New York for her first time. She's never been and she has always dreamt of going. Me and our friend, Kristen, devised a plan and time to go and that would be the weekend after her birthday, leaving Thursday afternoon and coming home Sunday night. This isn't our sole means of saving money for the trip. I have a job and Paige has a job as well, but with our bills and everything, we're worried we may not be able to save enough money in time. Each of us are taking a cut from our weekly earnings and putting it away for the trip, but as you all know, things come up and happen and something may occur that would take away some, if not all, of our savings for the trip at any given time. Paige is trying to get a second job and I am trying to clock more hours at my job, but we're afraid that may not cut it. We're not asking for some week long getaway to New York. We're not asking to stay in a five-star hotel or to eat at some upper class restaurant for every meal we have. We are going to take my car, if not a rental, we are going to find the best, but cheapest hotel we can manage, and we are only going out to eat one of our nights there and even then, we may only go to Hard Rock Cafe (which last time I was there, was not too terribly expensive to eat at). 
We aren't begging for money. Like I said, we all have jobs and means of income, but we want to make sure we can go on this trip and this seems like the only way to insure that the trip will come to fruition. Any amount will help. We are looking at hotel rooms for barely $100 a night. According to what I've read, I should only have to spend $60 on gas if we take my car. With the three of us going out to eat one night, I don't imagine we'll spend more than $60. We just want to make sure we can go up there and have a good time and be able to do so comfortably. If you could donate any amount towards making this happen, we would be eternally grateful. And we'll bring you back a souvenir :)
