Pacific Ultralight Airplane, Sr. Project
Our names are Patrick Green, Tyler Sandelin, and Michael
Conway, and we are fourth year Mechanical Engineering students enrolled at
University of the Pacific in the Engineering Masters/Bachelors Blended Program.
As seniors this year we must complete a senior design project. Our Senior
Design Project is to create an original design for an Ultralight Aircraft,
which is a single passenger, simple, and lightweight recreational aircraft,
making it feasible to design and build as an educational project. The major
purpose of our project is the advancement, improvement, and implementation of
our engineering skills. The aerospace industry is a desired career path for the
three members of this project, and this is a perfect opportunity for us to gain
a working knowledge of the design and operation of aircraft, as well as
experience with the design considerations in creating custom parts for an
entrepreneurial project.
We have completed the design phase of our project and have begun the initial stages of construction. This project is an ambitious undertaking, we estimate our fundraising need to be a minimum of $10000, and your donation or sponsorship of any magnitude, along with others', will help us to realize our goals. If we manage to raise over 10,000 those funds will be used for transportation and a ballistic parachute for the airplane.
We would like to thank you for considering this opportunity to partner with our project team for raising funds. If you have any queries
regarding our organization, our fund management policy, or the project itself, please feel free to contact me at [email redacted]ific.edu
