BLACKOUT goes 2 NC Black Film Fest

Hello!
My name is Madelynn Poulson and I am a junior BFA Acting major at UNCG. I am the director and choreographer of the movement piece BLACKOUT. This piece started as a small live dance piece and through collabration with Candace Sinclaire, a junior in the Media Studies program, it has become a short film.
We were delighted when we were selected to attend the North Carolina Black Film Festival. At the festival our piece will be presented as an official selection. That is where we need your help!
As poor college students we are unable to fully pay for the trip so we are asking our community of friends and family to help us on this journey.
With your help we will be able to cover the cost of a hotel room for one night, festival fees, and gas for the trip from Greensboro to Wilmington which will come to approximately $250. If you are unable to give you can also support by spreading the word and liking our video on youtube.
