documentary audio description

I'm just about to release my documentary detailing the making of my latest full length album "Remember to Forget," streamable at http://kevinreeves.net/store/
This documentary contains a great deal of visual elements, beautiful scenery, humorous title panels, etc.
A vast majority of my audience is blind or visually impaired, and an audio only experience would cause them to miss out on vital information that is crucial to the experience. I would like to add audio description to this documentary so that everyone can enjoy it to it's fullest.
Audio description provides a narration track on the DVD that can be turned on so that blind individuals can hear descriptions of the visual elements.
The documentary will also be sold as a download, and a described version will be available. I am interested in hiring Valerie from Movies for the Blind, http://www.moviesfortheblind.com. Her quote for this 1 hour documentary is $300. This is an incredible deal for something that will obviously take her much longer than 1 hour to produce.
