FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) T eam 3718 was founded in 2010 by a group of E.C. Goodwin Technical High School students and the late Bernie Plantz, Math Instructor. Our team competes at least twice a year in New England competitions and scrimmages. Additionally, we participate in community outreach activities with charity events and 4-H fairs throughout Connecticut.
Our team has been actively recruiting new students instilling interest in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM). Robotics provides a valuable program for our community by engaging students in an after-school program, one that promotes our future engineers. We perform community outreach activities with 4-H fairs, the public library,
The members of our team are very passionate about Robotics. Our students are more than just a team; we are a family.
