When the thaw started, water forced through and moved the front of my foundation in 5 inches. The insurance company says they are not responsible nor do they cover "water or earth movement." My financial status isn't so that a $30,000 loan, the cheapest estimate yet, is manageable for me. I don't have much equity in my home to borrow against.
