Music Video for my song "Out"

Donation protected
Have you ever felt like you just needed out? Out of a bad relationship? Out of a dead end job? Out of a small minded town? Or maybe even out of a lifestyle? I know that I have on all accounts.

I am raising funds for a professional music video for a song off my latest EP release, Steadfast, that speaks on the topic of feeling trapped. The song is called "Out" featuring cellist Rachael Beaver and is track #4 on the album. It's a very personal song to me. I originally wrote it about the struggle of leaving my old life in Spokane that wasn't prospering and the yearning to move towards a better life here in Seattle.  The song has evolved into a message that I believe a lot of people can relate to. And that message is no matter how hard the situation is, there is always room for an "Out".

I have the pleasure of working with fellow musician and entrepreneur, Cody Beebe on this music video. He and his partner, Eric Miller make up the production company, Digital Vendetta. I stumbled upon one of Cody's music videos a year ago and fell in love with the cinematography. Check his music video that Digital Vendetta created for "The Bitter Run":

Cody and I have come up with a great concept for the "Out" music video! It will take place in Central Washington this December so the landscape should be quite dramatic and brittle which coincides with the storyline. Here's a little synposis of what we are thinking: the main actor will be dealing with an addiction of some sort, so their surroundings will be dark and desolate. The landscape and property Cody has access to will accentuate the situation. Think broken down houses, shady activity and blurred shadows. The shoot should take a full 2 days to film.

So why $2500?

- We will be hiring actors for the music video since it's a storyline video rather than a band focused video
- Transportation is needed to get to the shoot location which is about 250 miles away
- Accomodations for actors and crew for 2 days
- Cody and Eric will be putting a ton of hours into filming, editing, and post production of the music video to perfection
- Props and costumes for the shoot i.e. clothes, make-up
- VERY IMPORTANT: Promotion of the music video once finished i.e. Facebook Ads, sponsored video platforms like iTunes, Youtube, and Vimeo

What will you get out of this? Well. You get the satisfaction of supporting the arts and directly supporting my music career. Also, I truly feel that this song and music video will resonate with a lot of people that feel alone or hopeless. I want to remind them that someone somewhere is experiencing the same thing and that they are never alone. Through your contributions that message can be spread.

We are planning on taping between December 8-12th if the funds are made. Please donate whatever you can to make this heartfelt music video happen.
