Hello, My name is Linn Eaton. I am a father of two awesome teenage daughters and a new grandpa to a 6 month old baby girl who is the most amazing thing in my life right now. I have been married to the greatest and most patient wife a guy could ask for. Shawna and I have been married for almost 19 years now and she really is my best friend and soul mate.
A couple months ago I got layed of from work due to lack of business. 2 weeks later I was diagnozed with Huntington's disease. Huntington's disease is an inherited disease that causes the progressive breakdown (degeneration) of nerve cells in the brain. The reason I am asking for help is my teeth. My teeth are all but gone I can hardly eat solid foods right now. It is very painful.
Now with Huntingtons my ability to fight infections is low. My mother passed away from an infection and she had HD. My life will go down hill from here and I will need help with every day tasks untill I am completly dependent on others. I would like to get my teeth fixed not only for that but mostof my life I have been very self consciese about my smile.
Every picture of me for the last 30 years has me grinning at the camera. They call it my xxxx eating grim and I am known as a grumpy old man, which isn't totaly true. With HD I also suffer from depression so getting up in the morning and looking in the mirror always makes me feel bad. I would like to get my teeth fixed so the last few years of my life no matter how bad it gets my family will remember my with a great smile, exspecially my little grandbaby I call panda bear. It would also help prolong my life and maybe get a few pictures of me with a real smile. I would like to thank my family and friends for being here for me.
