Dr. David R. Osborne Ornithology Award

Your donations will help create an endowed annual award in honor of David R. Osborne, Ph.D., of Miami University's Zoology Dept.
The Dr. David R. Osborne Award for Student Research Excellence in Ornithology (a.k.a. The Osborne Ornithology Research Award) will be awarded to one Ohio student (undergraduate or graduate) for presentation (oral or poster) excellence in research focusing on furthering our understanding, or the conservation, of migratory birds of Ohio, or endemics of the Bahamas or Guyana.
This recognition will be presented annually as part of the Ohio Avian Research Conference.
This fund will be hosted and managed by The Oxford Community Foundation (you can make contributions directly through the foundation as well--just specify "The Osborne Ornithology Research Award").
Contributions of $250 or more are eligible for tax deductions.
This award is being organized by Casey Tucker (MU Ornithology 1998) & The American Avian Conservation & Research Institute.
