June Bug VS Aplastic Anemia

Donation protected
In July of 2013, June was diagnosed with a rare blood disorder that only affects 2-3 out of every 1 million people. This disorder is called Aplastic Anemia. It is a disease in which the bone marrow, and the blood stem cells that reside there, are damaged, and are not able to reproduce mature blood cells. For June, and most Aplastic Anemians, survival is based on receiving weekly blood and platelet transfusions.

The only cure for June is a bone marrow transplant, which she had in February of 2014.  Her donor was her own mother, who was only a 50 percent match.

While it has only been one month since June's transplant, her recovery has been flawed with visits to the ER, due to unexplainable fevers. These circumstances have put her back into the hospital twice.

Her journey is far from over and her family is enduring financial stresses due to unforeseen medical expenses and recent damages to their home.

This fundraiser is to help June's family offset some of these expenses during this difficult time.  If you are able to help with any donation, no amount is too little...every cent is appreciated!  Thank you!!
