Jordan's Study Abroad!

Agh! Hello! First of all, thank you for taking the time to visit my GoFundMe and for reading what I have to say. I greatly appreciate it! 

Let's get started - I was accepted into a study abroad program in England for this summer. This has been super exciting for me as it has always been one of my dreams to travel abroad. Growing up, vacationing and traveling anywhere was outside of my family's means, and so this will be my first time really traveling. So many of my dreams have come true while at college, and this will be no exception. 

So far, I have been fortunate enough to have received scholarships to help fund my program fees, plane ticket, and passport. Additionally, I was able to save up enough money to make the initial downpayment for the program myself.  Still, I delayed announcing that I was accepted into a study abroad program as there was a chance I wouldn't pursue it this summer if I didn't think I could acquire the funds necessary to go abroad. I am incredibly close to my goal and all that is missing are the funds necessary to pay for the tuition during my program. 

I feel awkward about asking for help in this way as I've always kept the details of my financial situation private and between me and my family. So, with that being said, I am beyond grateful to all those who help me reach my goal of studying abroad. Any contribution you make will not go unnoticed. Already, there has been so much support from friends and family when I expressed my desire to attempt to raise funds this way. I cannot articulate well enough how loved I feel to have wonderful people work towards my dream with me. Thank you, again, for reading what I have to say, and for allowing me the space to express something that is important to me.
