The Outer Banks of NC is a magical place with over a quarter million tourists every week in the Summer. The visitors love everything "OBX" so we're going to make wonderful wines with souvenir labels of their visit. We are a Federally licensed & bonded winery with a retail supply and equipment store for wine making and beer homebrewing. We are three long-time hobby winemakers and home beer brewers recently retired from our careers to the Outer Banks and want to share our passion and expertise with others. Duncan MacRae is retired from management in manufacturing and Lorraine MacRae was formerly in bank management & travel. Since we have already have all the equipment and supplies to get started and have proven the product and business model, we just seek some help gearing up to commercial size to meet the demand. For the past few years we have made and shared our delightful wines as gifts for special occasions, donations to charitable events and tasting parties, featuring personalized labels for the event. Our house labels, Friendship Springs (which comes from the quote in the first line by the English poet and dramatist John Gay) and OBX Winery (for the tourists) cover the spectrum of red, white and blush wines from light to full-bodied and dry to sweet. Our products are unique in that they are produced exclusively on the Outer Banks to the personal taste of the customer as to style, color, body and sweetness. Making wine and beer is a fun, rewarding and very tasty hobby, and both wine and beer sales flourish in a depressed economy!
We will sell finished wines under our house labels and with personalized labels for local clubs, restaurants, shops and hospitality businesses, special event wines for your anniversaries, weddings, birthdays and holiday gifts, plus we stock full range of supplies, equipment and accessories to make your own wine and beer. Classes and individual batch mentoring are available in our store allowing anyone to make their own personalized brew as a special gift or vacation memory.

In exchange for your support raising the capital to expand and stock our commercial winery we offer a gift certificate of the amount contributed plus an extra 10% discount when you use it, or your choice of available wines and everyone gets a certificate as a Supporting Winemaker of BrewMaster for a substantial discount on future purchases. See the reward levels for details. You will be helping us fund the new operation by essentially purchasing your personalized wines in advance at a significant discount.
