PreK2PhD Spanish Immersion Trip

Hola! PreK2PhD is petitioning for sponsorship for the company’s 1st annual Summer Spanish Immersion Experience. At PreK2hD, we offer private tutoring, test preparation, educational consulting, teacher training, and our exclusive educational concierge service. One of our subject matter specialties is Spanish. I tutor clients one on one as well as teach private Spanish classes in homeschool settings.  Right now, we are preparing to take a group of students to AEC Spanish Institute in Turrialba, Costa Rica 4-5 days a week for the entire month of June this year. This experience will significantly improve their Spanish, as they will be residing with Costa Rican families and have real, authentic interactions with the Spanish speaking world.

In addition, the students will receive science enrichment by going on excursions to learn about the biodiversity of the Costa Rican rainforest and be able to study the marine life on the Atlantic Coast of the country. This trip will also serve as a rich education in agriculture because the students will tour Earth University to learn about sustainable, organic farming and learn how coffee is made by seeing it first hand at a coffee plantation.

As you can imagine, a rich educational experience such as this can be quite costly. In order for PreK2PhD to be able to provide this experience to the maximum number of participants, the company is using this campaign to raise funds for the trip. With these funds, the company can subsidize the cost of the trip for everyone and even sponsor some children that wouldn’t otherwise be able to go. These children really want and need this amazing opportunity. With your generosity, these students can have a transformative experience that will not only make them more proficient in Spanish, but be more environmentally conscious and culturally  aware.
