1st Annual North Florida VegFest

Tallahassee Vegetarian Community, a volunteer-run non-profit group, is organizing the first annual North Florida VegFest, to be held on April 4, 2015 at Cascades Park in Tallahassee, Florida. North Florida VegFest seeks to promote the benefits of a healthy, sustainable and compassionate lifestyle.
North Florida VegFest will feature vegan food vendors; eco- and animal-friendly product & service vendors; vegan cooking demonstrations; speakers; animal rescue groups; and eco-friendly kids activities. The VegFest will provide an opportunity for people to discover healthy options and valuable resources that they can incorporate in their daily lives.
North Florida VegFest will be a free event open to the public, and we anticipate attendance of more than 1,000 people throughout the day. Our goal is to help empower the people in our community to make positive changes in the way they eat and live – changes that will improve their health, support the environment and protect animals. We want to connect the members of our community with the restaurants, stores, local farms and many other related businesses and organizations that offer healthy, sustainable and compassionate options.
We need to raise funds to pay for the park rental fee, insurance, equipment rental and supplies for the VegFest. We greatly appreciate your support of this event!
