Start Up: Peninsula Youth Chorus

I am a music educator and have lived on the Blue Hill Peninsula for 19 years. I feel that the time has come for a Youth Chorus in this area. Many of the elementary schools have very small programs, and the local high school has no vocal program at all aside from the annual musical production. Young people need to find their voices, sing their hearts out, and have a shared sense of community. Please help me fund this brand new start up and make it all possible for this rural Maine community! Money will go toward the cost of music, accompanist fees, website start-up, and student scholarships for those who are not able to pay the full semester fee.
