Support Military Families

The goal of this campaign is to provide baseball equipment for kids of military families living in the San Diego area (and beyond) who otherwise would be unable to afford to purchase bats, balls, gloves, cleats, helmets, and other gear (or pay league fees) to play youth baseball. 

As a father and coach heavily involved in youth baseball in a town filled with families from the Navy and Marines, I would like to be able to make baseball accessible and affordable to anyone and everyone who wants to play—especially the kids who come from military families.

When I was a kid baseball was everything (and still is today) and when I was only eleven years-old I invented a game called Roll-Dice Baseball. My brothers and I would play these simulated baseball games using dice for hours on end. We couldn't get enough of it. That's why I finally packaged the game to use as a fundraiser. (Roll-Dice baseball is a fun game kids can play with their friends or on their own.)

Anyone who donates at least $50 will receive a complete Roll-Dice Baseball package and I will also give one to a military family. (NEW: We will also send and donate a Roll-Dice Football Game as well.) The rest of your donation will go toward sponsoring a boy or girl who wants to play youth baseball (or flag football) and needs help paying for equipment or league fees. (I will personally mail you your game package and keep you posted on how your donation is making a difference.)

Baseball is a game—and so much more. It teaches kids valuable life lessons and for kids from military families who move around more than most it helps them to make fast friends. Together we can help more kids experience the power of baseball.
